VT Scheduler™
VT Scheduler is a simple automation application that
provides automated ingest and playout capability based
on time of day with offline script creation
The VT
Scheduler™ application
connects via Ethernet to any Apella video server channel for automatic ingest
or playout functionality
that can be scripted to occur at specific dates and times.
Scheduler scripts can be created offline and later assigned
to any Apella channel for automated records and playback.
Timecode comes from the internal PC clock or via the
optional Network Time Protocol Server (NTP) for locking to
a house timecode reference.
The VT
Scheduler Pro™
upgrade provides "sub event" control for more
precise timing of secondary triggers of external devices
relative to the main event. It also adds more
external device types to control VTRs (Sony BVW
protocol), video switcher/mixers (GVG200 protocol), 16
additional GPI I/O triggers, and character generator
automation for Chyron and Compix.
Other features include:
- Automated scripted feed records by date and time
- Automated scripted transmission playout by date and time
- Automatically generates proxies when recording
- Predetermine and reserve media IDs and template metadata
- Automate router control via RS-232 or Ethernet
(model dependent)
